A Look Back At Last Year’s Gala…Remembering Chad McCord

Last year’s “One Night For Brighter Days Gala” offered a glimpse into the story of Chad McCord—the young man whose life sparked our mission—and the many others who have been impacted by depression and suicide, yet found hope through CHADS.

These stories remind us of the lives already touched and the urgent work still ahead. Before we gather for this year’s “Illuminating the Future Gala: 20 Years of Brighter Days, take a moment to relive the energy, inspiration, and impact from last year’s celebration.

By 2032, CHADS will reduce youth suicide attempts in Missouri by 50% and provide
life-saving interventions to 5 million people where our kids live, learn, and play.

With Gratitude

We couldn’t do what we do without the incredible support of our Board of Directors—and especially our Gala Committee Chair, Ali Lynch. Ali’s passion, dedication, and tireless efforts is helping to bring this gala to life, and her commitment to our mission inspires everyone around her. We also want to thank our amazing community for 20 years of support, partnership, and belief in our mission. From all of us at CHADS, thank you for helping us continue to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
