American Association of Suicidology Conference

Registration is officially open for the American Association of Suicidology's 59th Annual Conference, happening May 17–22 right here in St. Louis!

We're especially proud to share that our own Chief Program Officer, Colleen Suber, and SOS® Program Manager, Mindy Grossmann, will take the stage to share real stories, impact, and the work being done every day to save young lives.

If you're passionate about mental health and suicide prevention, this is more than just a conference; it's a chance to learn, connect, and be part of something bigger.

Early Bird rates are available now, don't miss it: https://aas26.eventscribe.net/

Nature and Nurture Festival at the St. Louis Zoo

Event Name: Nature & Nurture Festival: Celebrating behavioral wellness at the Saint Louis Zoo

Proposed Time: 10AM to 2PM

Location: River’s Edge, Saint Louis Zoo

The Nature and Nurture Festival is a collaborative event between the St. Louis Zoo, Green Ribbon Gardens, the Saint Louis Mental Health Board and the Dogtown Ecovillage. The event is being held in May to commemorate Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month with the goal of encouraging children and families to incorporate nature into their lives for the mental and physical health benefits these experiences can bring. The event will have several zoo and outside institutions' staff members facilitating tables with educational and interactive activities for children and their families.

Children will participate in a scavenger hunt and will learn how to incorporate native seeds and plants into their communities to extend the path of the Green Ribbon Gardens. Join us at this event and be sure to stop by our booth!
